Blackheath Observing – Friday 25 January or Saturday 26 January

We will be running a Blackheath Observing session on Friday 25th January (main night) or Saturday 26th January (weather back-up night, if conditions on Friday are poor) from 7.30pm until around 11pm. As with all observing events, we will only go ahead if weather conditions allow, and a "go/no-go" decision will be made on the day of the event. We will have at least three scopes available at the session, but please feel free to come along with your own.…

Romney Observing Evening: 1 or 3 February 2019

Martin and Jane have very kindly offered to run a viewing session from their observatory on Friday 1st February (with a weather back-up date of Sunday 3rd February). For the benefit of newer members, Martin’s observatory (a shed, but not as most of us know sheds) is very well equipped including a permanently mounted 14-inch SCT and a smaller refractor with CCD camera.
