BAA Comet Section meeting
The Flamsteed Astronomy Society will be collaborating with the British Astronomical Association in hosting an all-day meeting on Comets and Meteors. The event will include a host of reputed speakers in the field and also a planetarium show. The meeting will start at the Lecture Theatre.

About the Event
With opening remarks and introductions. Participants will then proceed to the planetarium for a show relating to Comets and Meteors which will be hosted by one of the Astronomers at the Observatory. The rest of the day will then proceed with a wide range of talks on comets and cometary astronomy.
Speakers will include:
Pro. Alan Fitzsimmons (Exoplanets).
Dr Mark Kidger (The Comet Interceptor).
Robin Leadbeater (Cometary spectroscopy).
Dr John Mason (Comets and meteoroid streams).
