REARRANGED and CONFIRMED ON for Friday 20th September - Blackheath Observing Event
THIS EVENT IS CONFIRMED ON FOR FRIDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER Due to a less-than-ideal weather forecast for the weekend, we are moving our Blackheath Observing event to Friday 20th September.

About the Event
THIS EVENT IS CONFIRMED ON FOR FRIDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER.
We will meet in our usual spot, just north of Talbot Place, at around 7.30pm.
If you are bringing equipment that you need assistance with, please arrive at 7.00pm, so we can help you before the main event begins.
Our main targets for the evening will be the planet Saturn, objects in and around the Summer Triangle such as the Dumbbell Nebula, Ring Nebula, Albireo, and the Double-Double; and the Andromeda Galaxy. There will be plenty more to see, providing the skies remain clear!
This is a public event so all are welcome to attend - members and non-members. There is no need to book. There should be plenty of telescopes and binoculars available to take you on a tour of the sky, but if you are able to bring a telescope or binoculars then please do, the more the merrier! We…
