About the Event
We will meet in our usual spot, just north of Talbot Place, at around 8.00pm.
We’ll have a range of telescopes set up and our usual team of friendly volunteers on hand to guide you through the night sky. With sunset at around 7.30pm (don’t forget the clocks go forward this weekend!), we’ll be getting going just after twilight.
Expected highlights include views of the crescent Moon, Jupiter, Mars, and various deep-sky objects (weather permitting).
Dress warmly, and come along for an enjoyable evening under the stars!
No booking required – just turn up.
Our viewing area on Blackheath is quite exposed, so don't forget to wrap up warm! We recommend to wear warm head covering and gloves too.
