Please note that our training event at the Royal Observatory has been rescheduled from Tuesday 1 April to Tuesday 29 April, due to unforeseen changes in observatory staff availability. We apologise for any inconvenience and look forward to welcoming attendees on the new date.
During the summer months, we run several public solar viewing sessions at the Royal Observatory Greenwich. These sessions prove to be extremely popular, with many thousands of visitors attending the solar viewing events over the course of the summer.
All of these sessions are run by Flamsteed volunteers, and they wouldn’t take place without the support of our membership. We are always looking for new people to get involved, so we are running this training session to encourage members to get involved in our solar viewing events.
