Visit to The Royal Astronomical Society Library

It has been a few years since Flamsteed last visited the Library at the Royal Astronomical Society at Burlington House, and we are delighted to be visiting again in March!

The RAS has been collecting books, manuscripts, journals, photographs and instruments since it was first established over 200 years ago in 1820. Sian Prosser, Librarian and Archivist, will be our host for our visit, and Sian will talk to us about the library's collection and will also have a number of specially selected items for us to look at more closely. Members attending will also have the opportunity to request prior to the event specific items they wish to see on the day.
