We heard about a more ancient view of astronomy, one where centuries before the big names, like Copernicus and Brahe, the ancients were making observations and compiling tables of comets, eclipses, and planetary motions.
Who knew that the idea of the big bang was first postulated in the 12 century?
A fascinating talk, which we hope to revisit in more detail, at some point, in the future.
